My Handyman NJ is an informational website. It has no customer account, online payment, contact form or photo-upload form. Contact links open your phone or email app; clicking a link does not send a message for you.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. A request to load a page or image can include technical information such as an IP address, browser information and the requested address. Cloudflare processes information to deliver and protect its services under its own privacy policy. This site does not use advertising or analytics tracking.
Information you choose to share
If you text, call or email me, I may receive your contact details, town or project address, description of the work, messages and photos. Please send only what is relevant to your request. Avoid including payment-card details, identification documents or other sensitive information that I do not need.
Your phone, email and messaging providers also process communications under their own policies. Photos sent with an inquiry are used to discuss the project. I ask for separate permission before using customer-provided photos to promote my work.
How I use information
I use information to respond to inquiries, discuss estimates, arrange and carry out agreed work, maintain necessary job records, protect communications and handle legal or safety matters. I do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
When information may be shared
Hosting and communication providers process information as part of delivering their services. I may also disclose relevant information when required by law or when reasonably needed to address a legal claim, fraud or a safety or security issue. I do not publish private contact details or project addresses as part of a project gallery.
Keeping information and protecting access
I keep messages, photos and job records while they are needed for the request, agreed work, recordkeeping or a legal or safety matter. I delete information when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable recordkeeping duties. Copies held by your communication provider are governed by that provider's practices.
I limit access to information and use reasonable safeguards for the devices and accounts used to handle inquiries. No internet service or communication method can guarantee complete security.
Your requests
You can contact me to ask about information you have shared, correct it or request its deletion. I may need reasonable information to verify that a request is yours. Where applicable law gives you additional rights, including access, a copy of your information or an appeal, I will handle your request under that law. Some information may need to be retained for legal or recordkeeping reasons.

Children
This website is intended for people arranging home projects. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact me so I can review it and take appropriate action.

I will post changes to this policy here with an updated date. If a change requires notice or consent under applicable law, I will provide that notice or obtain that consent before applying the change.
